INTERCERT Egypt for Certification and Audit Activities is a private certification body, hereinafter referred to as INTERCERT Egypt, legally registered in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Arab Republic of Egypt under Commercial Registration Number 76225, Unified Commercial Registration Number of the organization: 104400000052667, National id number: 562192166 and Tax Card registration Number 726296222. INTERCERT Egypt’s head office is located in Hurghada, Sakala District, directly opposite Seagull Hotel, Red Sea Governorate, Arab Republic of Egypt. In addition, the organization operates a marketing office at 45 Ibn Qutaiba Street, Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt. The main objective of INTERCERT Egypt is to provide independent third-party auditing and certification services to organizations against various International Management System Standards. INTERCERT Egypt certifies management systems including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001) Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001) Food Safety Management Systems (ISO 22000) Certification services are strictly limited to management system certification and do not extend to product certification. INTERCERT Egypt conducts its certification and audit activities primarily within the Arab Republic of Egypt. INTERCERT Egypt is fully committed to the highest standards of impartiality, integrity, transparency, and competence in all certification and audit activities. This policy defines the organization’s firm commitment to safeguarding impartiality in accordance with: ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 ISO/IEC 17021-3:2017 ISO/TS 22003-1:2022 ISO/IEC 17021-2 (EMS) ISO/IEC 17021-10 (OH&SMS) and applicable IAF Mandatory Documents.
Impartiality Policy
Top Management of INTERCERT Egypt recognizes that impartiality is fundamental to the credibility and reliability of certification activities. INTERCERT Egypt affirms that: All certification decisions are based solely on objective evidence obtained through a competent, independent, and impartial audit process. INTERCERT Egypt does not provide management system consultancy, internal audits, or any other services that could compromise impartiality. All risks to impartiality, including those arising from relationships, financial interests, or external pressures, are identified, evaluated, monitored, and controlled. An independent Impartiality Committee, representing a balanced group of stakeholders, is maintained to review impartiality risks and ensure objectivity in certification activities. All INTERCERT Egypt personnel, subcontractors, auditors, technical experts, and committee members are required to declare any potential conflicts of interest, and personnel involved in certification decisions remain independent from audit activities. Impartiality is embedded within INTERCERT Egypt’s governance structure, policies, procedures, training programs, and performance monitoring mechanisms. Top management commitment to impartiality: As General Manager, I reaffirm INTERCERT Egypt’s commitment to upholding impartiality at all levels of the organization. I shall ensure: Effective implementation of this policy across all departments and functions. Allocation of adequate resources to identify, manage, and monitor impartiality risks. Full cooperation with the Impartiality Committee. Transparency in dealings with clients, stakeholders, and accreditation bodies. Non-discriminatory access to certification services. Any violation of this policy shall be treated as a serious nonconformity and shall trigger investigation and appropriate corrective actions.

Top Management of INTERCERT Egypt affirms its full commitment to the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and all applicable accreditation and regulatory frameworks. Top Management has established and documented policies, objectives, and values that define INTERCERT Egypt’s vision for impartiality, competence, consistency, and integrity in providing certification services. These policies and objectives are periodically reviewed to ensure continued suitability and alignment with strategic direction and stakeholder expectations. Top Management demonstrates commitment by: Ensuring that the management system is effectively implemented and maintained across all organizational levels. Promoting a culture of impartiality, transparency, and continual improvement. Ensuring that all personnel understand INTERCERT Egypt’s Quality Policy, Impartiality Policy, and management system objectives. Providing adequate resources, infrastructure, training, and competent personnel. Actively participating in management reviews, internal audits, and performance evaluations. Top Management has appointed a Management Representative, who, irrespective of other responsibilities, has the authority and responsibility to: Ensure that management system processes are established, implemented, and maintained. Report to Top Management on system performance, audit results, client feedback, and improvement needs. Promote awareness of client, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Ensure that the integrity and impartiality of INTERCERT Egypt’s certification activities are never compromised.
Confidentiality Policy
INTERCERT Egypt is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all information obtained during certification and audit activities. Such information shall not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent from the client, except where disclosure is required by law, court order, or authorized accreditation or regulatory bodies. Where permitted, the client shall be informed in advance of such disclosure.
Non-Discrimination
INTERCERT Egypt ensures that access to its certification services is non-discriminatory and is not conditional upon the size of the organization, membership status, or any commercial consideration. All eligible organizations are treated fairly and equally.
